Privacy Policy

Last updated: January 1, 2026

This page explains, in plain language, what information OnlinePicTools does and doesn't collect when you use our image tools. The short version: your photos stay on your device, and we keep the data we collect to a minimum.

Your images never leave your device

Every tool on this site, resizing, cropping, compressing, converting, and the rest, runs entirely inside your web browser. The images you open are processed on your own computer or phone. They are never uploaded to our servers, never stored by us, and never seen by us. When you close the tab, they're gone.

Information we collect

We don't ask you to create an account, and we don't collect your photos. The only information that reaches us comes from two places:

When you contact us

If you fill out the form on our contact page, we receive the name, email address, and message you provide. We use this only to read and reply to your message. We don't use it for marketing or sell it to anyone.

Usage and analytics

Like most websites, we use analytics to understand which pages are popular and how the site is performing. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. It typically includes things like the pages you visit, your general region, browser type, and the device you're using.

Log files

Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs. These may record information such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request, and the date and time of each visit. This information is not linked to anything that personally identifies you and is used only for analysing trends and keeping the service running and secure.

Cookies and third-party services

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser that help websites remember your visit. We use a few trusted third-party services to run and support the site, and these services may set cookies:

  • Google Analytics — helps us measure traffic and improve the site.
  • Google AdSense — shows ads that help keep the tools free. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on our site. Google's use of advertising cookies (including the DART cookie) enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.

For more on how third-party vendors use cookies in advertising, see Google's advertising policies, or visit aboutads.info to manage choices across many ad networks. You can also block or delete cookies anytime through your browser settings, though some parts of the site may work differently if you do.

How we protect your data

The site is served over a secure HTTPS connection. Because your images are processed in your browser and never sent to us, there is no image data for anyone to intercept. For the limited information we do receive through the contact form, we use reputable service providers and reasonable safeguards to keep it protected. No method of transmission over the internet is ever completely secure, but we work to keep the small amount of data we handle safe.

How long we keep data

We keep contact form messages only as long as needed to respond to you and keep a reasonable record of our correspondence, after which they're deleted. Analytics data is retained according to the standard retention periods of the analytics provider. You can ask us to delete your message data at any time.

International users

OnlinePicTools can be used from anywhere in the world. The third-party services we rely on, such as Google, may process data on servers located in other countries. By using the site, you understand that any limited information you share may be processed outside your home country.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over the personal information we hold about you, which in practice is limited to any message you've sent us. These can include the right to:

  • Access the information we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct or update it
  • Ask us to delete it
  • Object to or restrict how it's used
  • Withdraw consent at any time

If you're in the European Economic Area or the UK, these rights are covered under the GDPR. If you're a California resident, the CCPA gives you similar rights, including the right to know what personal information is collected and to opt out of its sale, we do not sell your personal information. To make any request, just email us and we'll take care of it.

Consent

By using OnlinePicTools, you consent to this privacy policy and agree to its terms. If you do not agree with any part of it, please discontinue using the site.

Children's privacy

Our tools are meant for a general audience and are not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we'll remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time as the site evolves or as laws change. When we do, we'll update the date at the top of this page. We encourage you to check back occasionally.
